County Government CIT Training | Faber Productions
Videos help government agencies raise public awareness about important programs and services, and share successes and with other agencies and departments.
videos on Public Health department Police Training
In 2016, Faber Productions won a Telly Award for our videos about the Alameda County's Crisis Intervention Training Program (CIT), which teaches police officers skills to handle interactions with the mentally ill both compassionately and effectively, particularly training in de-escalation techniques.
Three Videos, three goals
We produced three videos for Alameda County's Behavioral Health Care Services: one to promote and explain CIT to the general public; a second to accompany the department’s annual evaluation (including hard-number results); and a third to share with other local counties, with the goal of moving toward implementation of CIT regionally.
The washington Post calls on US
In addition to winning a Telly Award for our CIT videos, we are proud that portions of our videos were used by The Washington Post in an investigative report highlighting the need for more mental health police training nationwide.
